White & Case Private Equity Head Leaves to Start Advisory Firm

Taurie Zeitzer, the co-head of White & Case’s global private equity industry group, is departing after a year and a half to form her own strategic advisory firm.

She will announce details of the firm “in the near future,” according to a statement Tuesday announcing the venture. “It’s the right moment for this product,” Zeitzer said in the statement.

Zeitzer, who previously was co-head of Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison’s mergers and acquisitions group, has longstanding ties to private equity firm Apollo Global Management. Her move to White & Case was aimed to grow the firm’s private equity capabilities. ...
