White & Case Elects NY Lawyer McDevitt as Firm’s New Leader (1)

White & Case will have soon its first new leader in roughly 16 years.

New York-based litigator Heather McDevitt will become the international law firm’s next leader and its first female chair, the firm said Tuesday. She succeeds Hugh Verrier, who has led the firm since 2007, beginning in September.

“It is a great honor to be elected by my fellow partners as Chair of White & Case,” McDevitt said in a statement.
