For longtime followers of the business of law, it’s easy to hear the word “culture” and immediately tune out.

So many law firm leaders cite their firms’ “culture” — often in the same breath as “core values” — as part of what makes them so great. But is culture more than just a buzzword at law firms, where lawyers live by the billable hour?
