Omar Samji has joined Weil, Gotshal & Manges as a partner in the corporate department in Houston, the firm said Monday.
Samji represents companies in M&A, joint ventures, and project development in transitional sectors of the energy industry, according to Weil.
He joins from Shearman & Sterling where he served as a partner and leader of the energy innovation team, said the firm.
