Sophie Smith joined Weil, Gotshal & Manges as a partner in its private funds practice in London, the firm announced Monday.

Smith specializes in primary fundraisings and advises managers on carried interest, co-investments, and other incentive arrangements, the firm said.

She also advises on environmental, social, and governance matter, as well as impact and growth investing.
