Weil Recruits Mulligan as Private Funds Partner in Washington

Christopher Mulligan has joined Weil Gotshal & Manges as a partner with the private funds practice in Washington, D.C., the firm said Monday.

Mulligan served as the investment adviser and private funds senior adviser and co-coordinator of the private funds specialized working group at the US Securities and Exchange Commission, according to Weil.

While at the SEC, Mulligan led efforts to train staff and implement new Advisers Act rules as well as served as the primary investment adviser and private funds legal point of contact for SEC examiners, Weil said.
