The head of US companyside restructuring at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett is returning to Weil Gotshal & Manges amid leadership shuffling at the firm.
Sunny Singh concluded his short-lived tenure at Simpson this week, according to two sources briefed on the move. Singh rejoins Weil after the firm lost prominent restructuring lawyer and restructuring co-chair Ray Schrock and two other partners to Latham & Watkins last month.
Singh will lead Weil’s restructuring practice as one of four co-chairs, the firm said in a statement Friday afternoon.
