Christopher J. Scully has joined Weil Gotshal as a partner with the private funds practice in Washington, D.C., the firm said Monday.
Scully represents private investment funds and SEC-registered, state-registered, and exempt advisers, according to Weill.
He provides advice on private fund formation, renewing and negotiating separately managed account agreements, drafting operating agreements for investment advisers, and negotiating third-party contracts and seed arrangements, Weil said.
He served as a partner with the investment funds practice group of the corporate department at Kirkland & Ellis.
