Weil Adds Phil Baynes as Private Funds Partner From A&O Shearman

Phil Baynes rejoined Weil, Gotshal & Manges as a partner in its private funds group in London, the firm announced Thursday.

Baynes advises investment fund managers on structuring, marketing, fundraising, and operation of private investment funds, as well as co-investment schemes, carried interest arrangements, and secondaries transactions. He also advises institutional investors on alternative investment programs and works on fund manager mergers and acquisitions deals, the firm said.

He joins from A&O Shearman.
