Cody Carper has joined Weil Gotshal as a partner in the corporate department in Houston, the firm said Tuesday.
Carper represents private equity sponsors and management teams in acquisitions and divestitures of oil and gas assets, energy financings and joint venture transactions, according to Weil.
He was a partner in the corporate practice at Skadden who focused on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and energy and infrastructure, Weil said.
