WW International Inc., the parent company of Weight Watchers, has brought on Jacqueline “Jacquie” Cooke as its new general counsel and corporate secretary.
Cooke joined WW this month, shortly after its share price plunged upon the news that Oprah Winfrey would step down as a board member and donate her company shares to charity. Winfrey, who has been a longtime WW advocate, recently said she began using weight-loss drugs as a “maintenance tool.”
