Washington Mutual Files Amended Plan, Disclosure Statement in Delaware Court

Washington Mutual Inc. May 17 announced that it has filed an amended reorganization plan and disclosure statement in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (In re Washington Mutual Inc.).

The plan, according to the debtor, contemplates the implementation of a global settlement agreement among WMI, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and JPMorgan Chase Bank NA.
