Walton, Obama Foundations Shuffle Top Legal Leadership Roles (1)

Two prominent foundations, one tied to the family of Walmart Inc.’s founders and the other to former President Barack Obama, have named new top lawyers.

The Walton Family Charitable Support Foundation, which handles the philanthropic endeavors for the heirs to the fortune generated by Walmart, announced Monday its promotion of former associate general counsel Christie Yang to general counsel.

The Barack Obama Foundation announced Oct. 26 its hire of longtime former General Electric Co. in-house lawyer Alfreda Bradley-Coar as chief legal officer.
