  • Alina Habba, one of Donald Trump’s defense attorneys, has settled a lawsuit with a former waitress at the ex-president’s New Jersey golf club. The woman alleged that Habba tricked her into signing an illegal non-disclosure agreement to keep quiet about sexual harassment. (NOTUS)
  • UK law firm Mishcon de Reya has bumped the salaries of its newly qualified lawyers by a little over 5% to £95,000 ($125,000). Trainee rates have also increased from £47,500 in year one and £52,500 in year two. (Legal Cheek)
  • Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan and Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll were awarded $102 million in legal fees for their work on a $580 million settlement for investors who accused major banks of conspiring to curb competition in the stock lending market. (Reuters)
