• Sidley Austin is advising financial services company Global Atlantic Financial Group on its $19.2 billion risk transfer deal with life insurer MetLife, Inc., advised by Willkie Farr & Gallagher. Under the agreement, expected to close in the second half, Global Atlantic will reinsure a diversified portfolio of MetLife’s U.S. retail annuity and life insurance business.
