  • Leading off, Oregon’s Supreme Court approved a licensed paralegal program that will allow non-lawyers to provide legal services in limited areas. It follows Washington, Utah, Arizona, and Minnesota, which have already made similar regulatory changes. The California Bar’s proposal for a so-called legal paraprofessonionial program has met fierce resistance from lawyers and lawmakers. (Reuters)
