- Los Angeles-based Quinn Emanuel partner Harry A. Olivar, Jr. died in an automobile accident in central Georgia. He chaired the firm’s National Securities Practice and was co-chair of the Domestic Arbitration Practice. Olivar had worked at the Quinn Emanuel for 26 years and recovered more than $4.9 billion in verdicts, judgments, and settlements for clients. The accident also claimed the life on Olivar’s stepson and seriously injured his wife. (Quinn Emanuel)
