Wake Up Call: London Big Law Couple Hit With Antisemitic Abuse

  • Husband-and-wife associates from Morrison & Foerster and Slaughter and May reportedly were subjected to antisemitic abuse last week on a London bus. The couple, who had just been to see the musical “Wicked,” were traveling on the day of a large pro-Palestine march in the city. (Roll On Friday)
  • Scott+Scott is expanding into a 21,300 square foot office space at 230 Park Avenue in New York, known as the Helmsley Building. The firm, which specializes in antitrust and securities litigation, is moving from a smaller space on a different floor. (New York Post)
  • Baylor Law School will get a new dean, 20-year tenured law professor Jeremy Counsellor, next July. Before interim dean Patricia Wilson was appointed, the prior dean, Brad Toben, served in the job for 31 years. (Waco Tribune-Herald)

  • Yvonne M. Saadi has joined Blank Rome as a partner with the commercial litigation group in Pittsburgh, Pa. Saadi served as an assistant US attorney in the US Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
  • William Choe has joined Arnold & Porter as a partner in the corporate and finance practice resident in Silicon Valley, Calif.
  • Arthur Armstrong has joined Reed Smith as a partner in the insurance recovery practice group in Philadelphia, Pa. He served as a shareholder at Flaster Greenberg.
  • Anitra D. Androh and Tim J. Donovan have joined Polsinelli PC as shareholders in the real estate practice group in Washington, D.C.
  • Justyna Regan has joined Hinshaw & Culbertson as a partner with the business and commercial transactions practice in Chicago, Ill. She formerly practiced with Miller Canfield.
