- Willkie Farr & Gallagher says it has plans to launch a Munich office and “refresh” its German leadership as it seeks to boost its private equity coverage in the country. “We are excited about this latest development in our expanding footprint, as Munich ties directly to key sectors in our client base,” said Willkie chairman Thomas Cerabino. - For the past several years, Buffalo PI lawyer William Mattar has placed TV commercials in the Buffalo viewing market to promote his firm during the Super Bowl. Mattar said the six-figures he doles out to run the spots each year are significant investments, “so we spend a lot of time trying to come up with a concept that is entertaining and also spreads our firm’s message.” (Buffalo News)
