Wake Up Call: Boeing Said to Agree to Settlement Talks on Indonesia 737 Crash

  • Boeing Co. and its Perkins Coie lawyers may be changing their strategy for dealing with lawsuits linked to the two deadly crashes of its now grounded 737 Max 8 aircraft. After lawyers for Boeing and family members of victims suing the company over the Oct. 29 crash of Lion Air Flight 610 in Indonesia said they had agreed to mediate, a Chicago federal judge ordered talks to begin July 17, according to a report.
