- Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche has met resistance as he seeks to join one of Washington’s oldest private clubs. At least six members of the Metropolitan Club have written to its board of directors to object to Blanche’s joining, saying he’s too polarizing and has politicized the Justice Department, according to two current members. Blanche started the rigorous process of joining the club around February of last year. (Politico)
