Wachtell Raids Latham to Hire Outside Apollo Adviser Teicher

Wachtell hired former Latham and Skadden finance partner Stephanie Teicher, a rare instance of the elite New York law firm wading into the lateral partner hiring market.

Teicher joined Wachtell Lipton Rosen & Katz as of counsel this month following a four-year tenure at Latham & Watkins, according to her LinkedIn page. Before Latham she spent two and a half decades at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom.

Teicher was on the Latham team that advised Apollo Global Management Inc. in the financing of a $2.2 billion physician-led buyout of GI Alliance, a network of gastroenterology physicians. She also worked ...
