Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, a high-powered Wall Street law firm that rarely sees partners leave, has watched two corporate attorneys move in-house.
Salesforce.com Inc. announced Monday its hire of Wachtell’s Sabastian Niles as chief legal officer. Niles advised Salesforce last year in an agreement that avoided a proxy contest with Elliott Investment Management LP, an activist investor that in January bought a substantial stake in the software company.
