Vivint Applicant Nixed Over Marijuana Arrest Settles Bias Suit

Vivint Solar Developer LLC and an applicant for a sales-consultant position who said his job offer was unlawfully pulled based on his past arrest for possessing and selling marijuana have resolved his lawsuit, Pennsylvania federal court records show.

The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania entered an order Wednesday dismissing Lamont Lomax’s suit under Pennsylvania’s Criminal History Record Information Act and the Philadelphia Fair Criminal Records Screening Standards Ordinance. The disputed issues between Vivint and Lomax have reportedly settled, the dismissal order said.
