Vitol Hires Hartree Diesel Trader Candina for Houston Office (1)

Oil markets veteran Aitor Candina is joining Vitol Group in Houston after a stint at rival Hartree Partners, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

Candina, who is based in London, will start at Vitol as a distillate trader in the coming months, said one of the people, who asked not to be named because the information is private. He spent more than five years at Hartree, where he was most recently global distillates manager and a limited partner.
