Monique Watson has joined Vinson & Elkins as a partner in the energy regulatory practice in Washington, the firm said Tuesday.
Watson has experience in energy law, particularly in oil and gas pipelines, in addition to environmental impacts and permitting, according to Vinson & Elkins.
She previously served as the acting director and deputy director of the Office of Energy Market Regulation, Division of Pipeline Regulation at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, said the firm.
