Vinson & Elkins Launches Denver Office, Plans Local Hires (1)

Vinson & Elkins is launching a Denver office, staffed by three partners, and is looking to hire more lawyers in the city.

The office, to open Friday, is led by Sarah Morgan, co-head of Vinson & Elkins’ capital markets and mergers and acquisitions practice. Mike Joyce, who co-heads the firm’s energy transactions and projects practice, and capital markets partner Ramey Layne, also work there.
