Vinson & Elkins Guides $1.5 Billion Energy Transition Fund (1)

Vinson & Elkins guided EnCap Investments L.P. in forming its second energy transition fund of approximately $1.5 billion.

Houston-based EnCap Energy Transition created the fund to invest in solutions to de-carbonize the energy industry. Clean energy deals have surged since the 2022 passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, a federal law allotting tax credits to areas like solar, wind, and electric vehicles.
