Samuel Francis and Reed Schuster joined Vinson & Elkins as partners in its investment management practice, the firm announced Monday.
Francis, who joins the New York office, represents US and international private investment fund sponsors on formation and operation of private equity, energy, infrastructure, real estate, credit, and hedge funds, and provides regulatory guidance on investment adviser registration and compliance. He also advises asset managers on mergers and acquisitions transactions and management company matters, the firm said.
