Vinson & Elkins Adds Halper, Brauerman as Litigation Partners

Jason Halper and Sara Brauerman joined Vinson & Elkins as partners in its litigation practice in New York, the firm announced Monday.

Halper handles commercial disputes, securities, and corporate governance matters, including stock exchange investigations and arbitrations, internal investigations, lawsuits claiming breaches of fiduciary duty, insider trading, and matters arising from transactions involving changes in or contests for corporate control in the Delaware Court of Chancery, the firm said.

Brauerman handles similar litigation for public and private companies, underwriters, lenders, professional services firms and their partners, corporate directors, and other individuals in a variety of industries, including financial services, ...
