Mark Schamel has joined Venable LLP as a partner in the Washington, D.C., office, the firm said Wednesday.
Schamel focuses on white collar criminal defense and government investigations, representing individuals and corporations, according to Venable.
He has tried criminal cases in state and federal courts and handles matters involving Congress, inspectors general, state attorneys general, and federal agencies, Venable said.
