Venable Drafts Corporate Practice Partner Akhter to D.C. Office

Saminaz Akhter has joined Venable LLP as a partner in the corporate practice in Washington, D.C., the firm said Monday.

Akhter focuses on corporate and securities law, particularly acquisition and divestiture transactions, according to Venable.

She represents corporations and other business entities in commercial contracts, stockholder agreements, employment agreements, and mergers and acquisitions, the firm said.
