Venable Adds Partner Trio to Product Liability, Mass Torts Group

Derek Smith, Jeremy Goldkind, and Joo Cha Webb have joined Venable as partners with the product liability and mass torts group from Steptoe, the firm said Tuesday.

Smith, who joins the firm in Chicago with Goldkind, represents chemical, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and specialty-material companies in complex and mass tort litigation, according to Venable.

Goldkind represents national and international clients in commercial disputes and product liability and mass tort matters, Venable said.

Webb defends and advises companies in matters involving environmental and toxic tort claims, product liability law, and compliance issues, according to the firm. She will work in Los Angeles. ...
