The owners of New Jersey-based VE Source, Sherman Barton and Christopher Neary, and related entity Vertical Source have reached a settlement regarding their alleged connection to misleading the government to obtain contracts for businesses owned and controlled by service-disabled veterans, the Department of Justice announced Tuesday.
Barton will pay $75,000, Neary will pay $120,000, and Vertical Source will pay $180,000, according to the DOJ.
