USAID Lawyer Jumps to Eckert Seamans in DC Aviation Practice

Eckert Seamans hired Scott Phillips as a member in its aviation practice in Washington, DC, the firm announced Monday.

Phillips joins the firm from the US Agency for International Development, where he was based in El Salvador, according to the firm. He counseled senior agency leadership in the country, as well as in Mexico and Honduras, on legal and policy matters.

Phillips also has prior experience representing clients in commercial and foreign sovereign-related litigation in federal courts, the firm said.
