Universal Orlando Must Face Suit by Man Blocked From Waterslide

Universal Orlando Resort saw its win reversed in a lawsuit over denying a man access to a waterslide because he only has one arm.

While Universal cited state laws that it said required it to follow the manufacturer’s recommendations, doing so would “impermissibly preempt and effectively eviscerate” the Americans with Disabilities Act, Judge Robin S. Rosenbaum of the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit wrote July 7.
