UnitedHealth Group Makes Key Hire by Adding NFL’s Top Litigator

The National Football League’s lead in-house litigator has left to take a new position as deputy general counsel and senior deputy for litigation strategy at UnitedHealth Group Inc.

Dolores DiBella spent more than 14 years with the NFL, where she was senior vice president of legal affairs. The role saw DiBella take the lead on intellectual property and employment law issues, including a high-profile discrimination lawsuit filed by former Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores.
