UBS Names Magazzeni as Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer

UBS Group AG has appointed Daniele Magazzeni as its Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer as the bank continues its push into the technology.

He joins from JP Morgan Chase where he was Chief Analytics Officer for both the Europe Middle-East and Africa region as well as the commercial and investment bank, according to a memo seen by Bloomberg News and confirmed by a spokesperson.

Magazzeni is due to start at UBS on January 1, 2026. He will be based in London and report to UBS’s Group Chief Operations and Technology Officer Mike Dargan. This appointment comes at a time where ...
