Two Firms Steer EQT’s Lazer Logistics Buy From Harvest Partners

Paul Weiss is advising Swedish investment firm EQT on an agreement by its affiliated fund to buy Lazer Logistics, a Georgia-based provider of outsourced fleet logistics for consumer and industrial companies.

Ropes & Gray is advising Lazer and the seller, Harvest Partners, LP, on the sale to EQT’s Infrastructure VI fund. No financial details were disclosed for the transaction, which is expected to close in the second quarter.

Lazer has 5,000 employees and 6,000 fleet assets to serve customers across the consumer-packaged goods, food and beverage, retail, pulp and paper, and other industrial sectors in the US and Canada, according ...
