Two Firms Lead Piper Sandler’s Buy of DBO, Adviser to PE Deals

Sullivan & Cromwell is advising investment bank Piper Sandler Companies on its agreement to acquire technology investment banking firm DBO Partners, which advises on private equity and other deals.

Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen and Katz advised San Francisco-based DBO Partners on the transaction, which is expected to close in 2022’s fourth quarter and for which no financial details were disclosed.
