Two Firms Help Precisely Buy Data Management Firm Winshuttle

June 18, 2021, 10:56 AM UTC

Sidley Austin advised Precisely, a data integrity software provider, on its agreement to acquire Winshuttle, a process automation and data management software company.

Paul Hastings said it advised Winshuttle and that company’s seller, private equity firm Symphony Technology Group. No financial details were disclosed.

“Process automation is essential in delivering higher quality data so companies can be confident in their business decisions,” said Josh Rogers, CEO of Precisely, which is backed by Clearlake Capital Group and TA Associates.

A deal statement says Winshuttle’s software allows moving and validating large data volumes across multiple systems of record, including SAP environments, and systems that require high levels of compliance and standards management.

“Data quality issues are among the largest that hinder modern digital organizations today from unlocking the true potential of their data,” said Harry Taylor, managing director, and Michael Libert, principal, at TA. “The combination of Precisely and Winshuttle helps to address these customer pain points.”
