Honigman advised O2 Investment Partners on the private equity firm’s stake in BerlinRosen, a communications firm based in New York.
BakerHostetler advised BerlinRosen on the investment, for which no financial details were disclosed.
Under the deal, BerlinRosen, which also has offices in Washington and Los Angeles, will remain independent and its current management team will continue to lead it, according to a statement.
The company said the deal will allow it to accelerate its growth in new verticals, geographies, and services.
“Our partnership with O2 will allow us to continue to forward-invest and scale our most important asset—the more than 270 professionals coast to coast that make up our rapidly growing agency,” BerlinRosen principals and co-founders Jonathan Rosen and Valerie Berlin said in a statement.
