Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel advised private equity firm Francisco Partners on its acquisition of a minority stake in Acoustic, a global marketing and customer experience platform for business-to-consumer brands.
Simpson Thacher & Bartlett counseled Atlanta-based Acoustic on the transaction, which leaves existing investor Centerbridge Partners as Acoustic’s primary equity holder, according to a statement. No financial details were disclosed.
Acoustic’s web site says the company’s marketing cloud helps brands create personalized, multi-channel digital customer experiences, using email, web, SMS/MMS, mobile push, WhatsApp, social media and other channels. It says its clients include PayPal, Scientific American, and Ticketmaster.
