Two Firms Fuel Haddington’s $650 Million Hydrogen Equity Effort

Willkie Farr & Gallagher is advising private equity firm Haddington Ventures on its formation of a $650 million equity program to help finance construction of what’s billed as the world’s largest renewable hydrogen platform.

Houston-based Haddington Ventures said it formed the Haddington ESP I, LP fund to provide construction equity for projects developed by the Delta, Utah-based Advanced Clean Energy Storage Joint Venture, whose legal name is ACES Delta, LLC.

Sidley Austin is counseling investors in Haddington ESP, including Alberta Investment Management Corporation, Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC, Manulife Financial Corporation, and the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board.
