Twitter Lawyer Who Led Trump Battles Gets $7.3 Million Package

Vijaya Gadde, Twitter Inc.’s chief legal officer, received more than $7.3 million in total compensation in 2020 as she presided over a department that bid farewell to some in-house lawyers and welcomed aboard new ones.

Gadde, who joined Twitter in 2011 and became its general counsel two years later, is also the company’s top cop when it comes to policing tweets and conduct on the social media platform. She played a key role when Twitter permanently banned former President Donald Trump from its platform in January.
