Trump’s Mueller Investigation Lawyer Launches Trial Boutique

Brown Rudnick’s litigation cochairs Michael Bowe and Lauren Tabaksblat are leaving to launch an impact-litigation focused boutique, they announced Monday.

The new firm, Brithem LLP, will focus on fighting child abuse, human trafficking and discrimination in court, according to Bowe, who was part of Trump’s legal team during Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.

“Big Law is drunk on leverage and billables that deliver little bang for the buck,” Bowe said in a statement. “The AI revolution will only augment our proven ability to to take on big fights leanly. Today, big is not better. It’s just unnecessarily expensive.”
