Immigration lawyer James Hollis was helping his wife, a teacher, pack up her classroom on her last day of school when he got a text about the Trump administration’s new green-card policy.
“Is this bad?” Hollis was asked in the message that linked to a government press release saying most immigrants would be required to leave the US to apply for a green card.
