Even though parts of President Donald Trump’s anti-DEI orders are on hold for now, companies that do business with the government aren’t free of legal risk.
The government appealed the federal judge’s decision from Feb. 21 that temporarily blocks the administration’s crackdown on “illegal” diversity, equity, and inclusion policies. Meanwhile, the Trump administration has other tools, like Justice Department investigations and enforcement of EEOC complaints, to suppress DEI efforts.
