Trump Signs Order Limiting DEI in Federal Contracting

US President Donald Trump signs an executive order limiting diversity, equity, and inclusion accessibility in federal contracting.

  • The order says that the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs shall immediately cease promoting diversity and allowing or encouraging federal contractors and subcontractors to engage in workforce balancing based on race, color, sex, sexual preference, religion, or national origin
  • Also requires contractors to certify they don’t operate any DEI-promoting programs that violate US anti-discrimination laws
  • NOTE: No More DEI or Gender ID in Government as Trump Upholds Pledges
