Mark Pomerantz, who quit the Manhattan District Attorney’s office after what he called a “misguided” decision not to prosecute former President Donald Trump, has rejoined his old firm, Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison.
Pomerantz is of counsel in the firm’s litigation department, a Paul Weiss spokesperson confirmed Monday.
Pomerantz resigned in Feburary after he said the district attorney, Alvin Bragg, had decided not to seek criminal charges against Trump at that time. “I believe that Donald Trump is guilty of numerous felony violations,” he wrote in his resignation letter to Bragg, according to the New York Times.
